Mohamed is a committed Muslim, who could not afford to skip Hajj this year, which is why he cycled all the way from China to Saudi. He was received by a local cycling club that is in Taif, in the city of Mecca, where Hajj is performed. He cycled for 5,000 miles from Xinjiang, China to Mecca. The journey took him close to four months, according to the reports from the local news.
