Here’s a New Amazing Attraction in Dubai to Light up the Whole City

Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate has a new development to add to the Dubai Festival City (DFC) which is the first of its kind. It is supposed to be opened in a few weeks and will feature fire, water and lights as some of the elements in its multimedia show. Located in Festival Bay, this show aims to create dramatic effects.

Festival City is set to be a major tourist attraction, rivaling other waterfront shows such as those in Las Vegas. It is bound to set Dubai alight once it is opened in December after the final stages of construction and development are completed.

This epic attraction is pegged to be breathtaking as it will provide the largest permanent projection surface in the world on the InterContinental Dubai Festival City. This projection surface will be up to five times bigger than the largest IMAX screen in the world.

Laservision, the group behind the production of Marina Bay Sands show in Singapore which is famous all over the world, have been brought on by Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate to create a sensory experience that will not only be unique but one that will rival all others. To produce this show, water, light and fire power will be harnessed and combined with huge aqua screens and surround sound to captivate the audience.

Steven Cleaver, the Director Shopping Centres, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate  stated that this will be one of the most exciting shows to be launched. He pointed out that the design was meticulously done so that one can enjoy it from any angle, including viewpoints from their restaurants, the InterContinental Hotel and the whole of Festival Bay. They hope to captivate tourists with this new attraction. He further added that the show is aimed at capturing the imagination of all people regardless of age. This 360-degree magical story will be captivating for both residents of Dubai and visitors, especially because it has taken them three years of work alongside Laservision to achieve the magical site.

Al-Futtaim Group has this new attraction as a part of its Dh1.5 billion redevelopment to make Festival City one of UAE’s prime and highly recommended retail and leisure destination. As a part of this redevelopment, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate have also announced new retailers including Rigby, Top Shop, Mint Velvet and Peller. They have also included some of America’s favorites such as California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, Tortilla, Bareburger and Sugar Factory among others.
